Delhi Through the Ages Notes of all Units

The Delhi Through the Ages course looks at the long history of Delhi, showing how it changed from a medieval city to an important place in early modern India. Students will study the political, cultural, and building changes that happened under different rulers, from the Delhi Sultanate to the Mughal Empire. The course also covers how Delhi became a center for politics and culture, the impact of leaders like Alauddin Khalji and Shah Jahan, and how the city became a symbol of power in Indian history.

This course is great for students interested in how Delhi’s history shaped the rest of India.
